After a successful career with Dun & Bradstreet and Direct Media, Dick Co-Founded IDR in 1984 with his son Doug. For more than 35 years he has been at the forefront of the Direct Response List Industry. His extensive experience in the financial sector fueled the profitable growth of IDR in the 1980s and 90s. He continues to provide client consultation and strategic direction for IDR. Dick enjoys spending time with his 9 children and 11 grandchildren. When not traveling with his wife of 50+ years, Dick enjoys mentoring the IDR team. Dick is a graduate of RCA Institute of Technology and is a former U.S. Marine.
Doug co-founded IDR with his father Dick Guyer in 1984. His leadership and motivational skills has been the core ingredient of IDR's success formula over the past 25 years. He has developed and nurtured long standing relationships with Fortune 500 companies such as American Express, Procter & Gamble, SC Johnson, Colgate Palmolive, Amazon.com and many more. IDR clients and the press regularly call upon his unparalleled experience in product sampling and insert media. Doug spends his free time with his wife and two children, all of who are huge outdoor enthusiasts. He also manages to squeeze in time to compete in the US and World Dragon Boat Championships and runs the occasional marathon. Doug is a graduate of Boston College where he attended on a football scholarship.
Kathie has 20 years experience in the Direct Response arena. Prior to joining IDR, Kathie spent 14 years at the Franklin Mint where she was instrumental in the profitable execution of direct marketing initiatives, sourcing and product development. She leverages her years of Direct Response experience to orchestrate many of IDR's key clients DR initiatives. When not in the office, Kathie can often be found at the local walking trail or on the sidelines with her husband watching her two children play basketball and baseball. Kathie is a graduate of Bloomsburg University
Michael has over 18 years of Direct Response Marketing experience specializing in the financial sector. His extensive Direct Mail and List Consultation experience is highly sought after by many of IDR's clients. His attention to detail and execution has spurred the successful growth of several IDR Insurance clients. His DR expertise also encompasses Online Marketing, Insert Media, and Product Sampling. As a consummate outdoorsman he spends his free time with his wife and two children participating in a variety of sporting activities. Michael is a Graduate of the US Naval Academy, has an MBA from West Chester University, and is a former US Marine.
Dave brings 11-years of experience in the Direct Response and Product Sampling arenas. Prior to joining IDR, Dave held sales and marketing positions at Vanguard Mutual Funds and Blue Cross. Dave has cultivated new IDR clients in a variety of industries and has spear headed the successful growth of existing clients. His passion to exceed client's objectives continues to surpass expectations. He brings a unique and creative approach to overcoming obstacles and executing client campaigns. An avid skier and outdoorsman, Dave works out of our West Coast Office in Park City, Utah. When not working, Dave spends his time on the slopes or hiking the mountains with his wife and 2 children. Dave is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania
John has over 12 years of experience in the Direct Response, International Sales & Promotion arenas. John recently returned to the US after spending 17 plus years overseas where he worked in the promotion arena. In addition to his extensive US experience, John's knowledge of the Asian market is a valuable asset for IDR's international clients. His ability to execute profitable campaigns is consistently rewarded with increased client investment in IDR programs. John enjoys spending his free time with his family rediscovering America. John is a graduate of West Chester University.
Carolyn brings 22 years of marketing experience, project development and service knowledge to IDR’s line of direct response accounts, retailer relationships, and brand clients. Her expertise, creative thinking, and engaging service has led numerous client campaigns to successful rollouts. When not on a work project, she can be found on the golf course, on the hiking trail, or volunteering her time to Meals on Wheels where she is a Board Member. Carolyn is a ’88 graduate of Penn State University.
David has over 22 years of sales and leadership experience, particularly as President of eNeighborhoods and Senior Vice President with Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions. He lead eNeighborhoods to record revenues and their ultimate sale. A leader in the Real Estate B2B market, he directs IDR's Real Estate Group, Married to another Duke graduate, David enjoys Coaching baseball and watching his sons play. An ultimate Phillies fan as his brother Ruben Jr. is the Sr. VP and General Manager of the Organization.
Brian has over 25 years of Marketing experience, most recently as Vice President of Marketing of eNeighborhoods and head of Agent sales at Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions. Prior to the real estate industry, Brian held leadership positions at Automatic Data Processing and American Express. He has an MBA in Marketing from the University of Michigan and BS in Economics from Marquette University. Brian is actively involved with the Boys Scouts of America and enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and two sons.
